Born and raised in Orlando, Florida, Brittany Hamilton knew from an early age that she wanted to become an attorney. That ambition was never a passing thought—it was a calling. From middle school onward, she remained focused on making it a reality. Her family always recognized her natural ability to advocate for what she believed in, and saw the legal profession as the most powerful way to serve her community.
Hamilton earned her undergraduate degree from Florida International University before attending Barry University School of Law in Orlando, Florida. While in law school, she was a Child and Family Law Journal member, invited to participate in Moot Court, and actively involved in organizations such as the Paul C. Perkins Bar Association. These experiences sharpened her legal acumen and deepened my understanding of the complexities families face in the legal system.
She began her career at the Public Defender’s Office, gaining invaluable trial experience and developing the ability to think quickly, argue effectively, and fight for justice under pressure. Hamilton says she loved the work, the courtroom, and the responsibility of representing individuals whose futures depended on a strong defense. But her desire to help others extended beyond criminal law. She wanted to make a lasting impact on families navigating some of the most emotionally charged and life-altering legal matters. That drive led her to private practice, where she found her passion in family law. There is no greater privilege than helping clients regain stability, protect their rights, and confidently move forward.
Outside of my career, she is a proud mother and remains dedicated to serving my community in meaningful ways. Her commitment to excellence, advocacy, and strategic representation continues to shape how she practices law, and she looks forward to making an enduring impact both inside and outside the courtroom.”
